Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples was born in the US and is an actor, singer and actress. She was awarded the best actress award for her performances in Nashville in the 2012 drama in which she played Layla Grant. She also was awarded the prize in Sharknado 2013, where she was Claudia Shepard. The year 2015 saw her played her role as Jerrica Jem in the movie Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples' parents Wendy & Ashley raised her at Lake Mary Florida. Her younger sister is Ally. While growing up Aubrey performed with The Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. Aubrey graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School and was chosen as valedictory of students of the 2012 class as she graduated. Harvard University was willing to admit her. She declined the offer twice. The second time was due to her desire to perform in Nashville. Peeples guest-starred in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and had a recurring role in Necessary Roughness (1991). The actress was also in two television-based films, Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). She joined the cast in an important recurring role on the second season of the show drama Nashville with the character Layla Grant. In 2019 Peeples talked about having bipolar disorder in an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples one of the most talented actors below the age of 20 in September 2014.
