Ana de la Reguera and Ana Gasteyer Bio
Ana Kristina Gasteyer - American actor, singer and comic - is a comedian. Her most recognizable role was as a member of the NBC sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live, from the year 1996 to 2002. Since then, she's appeared on sitcoms, including ABC's Suburgatory TBS People of Earth NBC American Auto as well as on the television show Mean Girls. Gasteyer's professional career started at Northwestern University. She originally took a singing major, but then changed to acting after being part of the comedy group. This passion has carried her through a number of roles supporting including the intimidating Sheila Shay on Suburgatory and the quirky Karen Grisham (agent) on Lady Dynamite. All of this has led up to American Auto, the NBC comedy that gives Ana Gasteyer her long-awaited starring role. Anabell Gardoqui de la Reguera is a Mexican actress. She was a TV show's telenovela in the HBO TV series Eastbound & Down, Capadocia on Amazon TV, as well as the comedy Nacho Libre (2006). Reguera was born in Veracruz, Mexico. Nena dela Reguera was her maternal grandmother. The actress had been Miss Veracruz, a journalist as well as a TV host. Reguera first began classes in classic ballet and later began performance arts studies at the Instituto Veracruzano de la Cultura.
